Change of Insurer from Centriq Insurance Company Ltd to Mutual & Federal Risk Financing Ltd:
This letter serves to confirm important information regarding the ongoing administration of your Short Term Insurance policy currently placed with Centriq Insurance Company Ltd.
As your broker, we are committed to ensuring that your insurance needs are taken care of and that you receive the best possible service.
We endeavour to stay ahead of the latest Short-Term Insurance trends so that we can offer you, our valued client, the best products and financial services available in the market.
To this end, we wish to advise that Strategic Insurance Systems PTY Ltd, through which your current insurance policy is placed with Centriq Insurance Company Ltd, are changing insurers from Centriq Insurance Company Ltd to Mutual & Federal Risk Financing Ltd a wholly owned subsidiary of Old Mutual Insure. Old Mutual Insure is the oldest Short Term Insurer in South Africa with a history that dates back more than 180 years as one of the leading players in the Short Term Insurance landscape, with an AAA National IFS rating.
Your current policy with Centriq Insurance Company Ltd will be in force until midnight, 30 November 2021. On 1 December 2021, with your consent, you will be insured by Mutual & Federal Risk Financing Ltd with uninterrupted cover and the same policy wording which is bespoke to Strategic Insurance Systems PTY Ltd.
This change in insurers will have no impact on the following:
• Policy terms and conditions
• Premium
• Excesses
• Policy number
• Existing cover
• The reference prefix on your bank statement will however change to Mutual Fed + a reference number + your Brokers name, where the statement has sufficient space

You can be rest assured, that we will continue to act in your best interests to protect what is most important to you. We trust that you will agree to this change and will provide your consent confirming the same.
As our client you have the following options in terms of this change:
1. Allow us to move your existing Short Term Insurance policy currently placed with Centriq Insurance Company Ltd over to Mutual & Federal Risk Financing, a wholly owned subsidiary of Old Mutual Insure by:
- Providing your information below
- Completing consent form obtainable from us; or
- Sending us an email confirming that you are in agreement with the change in insurers and consent to change in debit order authority; or
2. Requesting that we contact you to answer any of your queries/concerns; or
3. Advising us that you do not consent to the change in insurer and request that we arrange for alternative quotations.
It is a requirement of the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) that we receive and record formal confirmation of your agreement to the change in insurers. In order to facilitate this change please respond by using the form below or make contact with us as soon as possible, by no later than 20 November 2021, indicating the option you have chosen to ensure uninterrupted cover.
The changeover will not affect your overall monthly premium and a full policy schedule will follow in due course.
